Girls Fall Lacrosse
Girls Youth Lacrosse.
We focus on small-sided lacrosse and play 6s (2028 Olympic format) to encourage two-way skill development for each player. While primarily geared towards experienced players, we can include a limited number of brand new players.
Ages
12u Girls -- 5th and 6th graders with birthdates between 6/1/2014 and 8/31/2016
14u Girls -- 7th and 8th graders with birthdates between 6/1/2012 and 8/31/2018.
HS Girls -- 9th to 12th graders with birthdates between 6/1/2008 and 9/1/2012.
When
Practices and games for 12u and 14u will run for 6 weeks, beginning 10/18/2026 and concluding 11/21/2026.
There will be no practices for HS girls.
Where
For 12u/14u girls, 2 practices will be held in Davis; 2 practices will be held in Sacramento (Arden). 1 play date or tournament will be played in hosted in Sacramento and 1 tournament in Petaluma (Turkey Shootout).
HS Girls will play the Turkey Shootout in Petaluma only.
Practices
Practices for 12u/14u girls will be held on Sundays from 1 - 3 PM.
There are no practices for HS Girls.
Games
Teams will play tournament games.
One playdate will be hosted in Sacramento on 11/8 for 12u/14u girls.
We will also enter the Turkey Shootout in Petaluma on 11/21.
Jerseys
Jerseys for 12u/14u will be included with registration costs. Jerseys will be a brand new design and club neutral. Note, jersey numbers will be assigned at random!
Shorts will not be included. A pair of black athletic shorts will be ideal.
For HS girls, jerseys are TBD. Sacramento Lacrosse will try to provide from inventory. Conversely, we might charge an additional $25 for jerseys if demand outstrips supply.
Extra Costs
None. But check that you have a mouthguard!
Equipment will be provided for goalies if necessary. Other loaner equipment will be available on an as needed basis.
Volunteer Requirements
All 12u/14u families are expected to volunteer two hours to help with the 12u/14u playdate. Help will be needed setting up, breaking down, score keeping/time keeping, and morning check-in.
2026 Girls Fall Lacrosse
Girls Fall 12u and 14u lacrosse.
Practice will begin on 10/18 with once a week 2 hour practices on Sundays. Season will conclude on 11/21 with the Turkey Shootout Tournament. An additional Sacramento based play date or tournament will be added.
