8U COED Lacrosse (6-8yrs)
Our 8U COED program is designed as an introduction to lacrosse. The emphasis is on stick skills, physical fitness, and most importantly having fun with friends. Scrimmages are scheduled between Sacramento programs and there is minimal travel. Practices and games can be easily coordinated into the schedule with other spring sports.
Ages
Appropriate for players 8 years or younger. Players that begin the season older and want to play down will be approved on a case by case basis.

USA LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP
Players must have a valid USA Lacrosse membership for the season (through 4/30/24).
USA Lacrosse Membership (youth $35 per player). Each player must have their own membership #.

Umoja Internation Academy (formally Kit Carson), Thomas Edison, or Arden Middle School. More locations can be added depending on registration and coach availability.
Practices
Practices are 2 times per week
Games
Games will be limited to 8.
Jerseys / Uniform
8U participation does not require purchase of uniforms. Optional Shooter Shirts (Athletic T-Shirts) $15 that can be worn under the Game Pennies or during practice are available for purchase during registration.
Sacramento Lacrosse will provide Pennies/Jerseys to be used during games.
Extra Costs
Players will need cleats and a mouth piece. Soccer or football cleats are fine. Players often like to purchase their own stick, but we provide a loaner for those players who are trying out the sport for the first time.
