Welcome to Sacramento Lacrosse Association

SacLAX is a youth lacrosse organization serving boys and girls in S
acramento, Carmichael, Arden, Land Park, Midtown, East Sac, West Sac, Del Paso and beyond.

Visit this website for news, information, schedules, rosters, game results, directions and much much more. Check back frequently for the latest information about our club.

We offer boys and girls teams from 10U through High School.  Our ability to expand and grow is dependent on the number of volunteers from our supporting parents. There are a number of opportunities to get involved. If you are interested in supporting a team as a coach, equipment manager, field manager, board member, etc. Please let us know.

Pass the word and grow lacrosse/Speed Lax Series/Goalie Clinic

Our friends at Lacrosse Fanatic have launched a cool new interactive calendar and have events scheduled all over the greater Sacramento area. (https://lacrossefanatic.com/pages/clinics-and-events)

They are presenting FREE Learn to Lax Clinics in many different locations over the next few weeks. They are committed to growing lacrosse in our community. So pass this information along to anyone you can think of who might like to try lacrosse out. We all know that once they've tried it, they will be registering for the spring season.

Lacrosse Fanatic is also hosting a four week Thursday Night Speed Lax Series starting this Thursday 10/29. Speed Lax is a non-contact variation of lacrosse that is fast-paced and fun. No helmets or pads are required, just bring your stick. Speed Lax is played on small fields, with small goals, small teams and softie balls. Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Coach Joe Sullivan from Lax Fan and ADVNC is hosting this series. The cost is $20/session or all 4 for $70. These sessions are open to boys and girls ages 10-14. (NOTE THAT LAX FAN ADJUSTED THE AGES TO INCLUDE U14)

Finally, Lacrosse Fanatic's Goalie Clinic this past Sunday was a HUGE success! They had 10 goalies out there including one who drove from the Bay Area to participate. The feedback from the attendees was so positive that they're doing it again on November 15th. Coach Brandon from Sacramento Net Minders says that goalies who attended will learn tons of new stuff this time. And if you weren't at the last one, don't worry... they'll recap what the covered. The cost is $40.

Big Thank You to All of Our Sponsors.

We'd like to thank the SacLAX sponsors who as part of their donations were all represented on the cool practice shirts that were distributed during the final of practices before we were forced to shut down. Please wear these shirts proudly as a show of support to these local businesses who were willing to support our club. Because of these unfortunate circumstances, the board has decided that all of these sponsors will be automatically rolled forward and are all considerd supporters of our 2021 season.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor... or know someone who might be... please contact our awesome Fundraising Coordinator: Nicole Alyanakian to receive more information.

Thanks again sponsors!

Your Amazon purchases can earn money for Sacramento Lacrosse

Sacramento Lacrosse has set up an Amazon Smile account. If you use the following link (https://smile.amazon.com/ch/45-3540220) whenever you want to navigate to Amazon, Sacramento Lacrosse will receive a donation from Amazon for .5% of all eligible purchases. This doesn't cost you anything extra, its a way for Amazon to donate to charities. So please follow this link, and bookmark it in your browser. Then whenever you need to place an order with Amazon use this link rather than going to their regular site. Finally, just shop as you normally would. Amazon will do the rest. And Sacramento Lacrosse will get a small donation. But those small donations add up. And by the end of the season, we can have a nice little check that helps us with our mission to grow the game of lacrosse in the Sacramento area.
