Player Registration

READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER

Sacramento Lacrosse uses Sports Engine (SE) for communication and registration. You will need to have an SE account to continue (free to sign up). Spring 2022 registration options only show once you are logged in.
 
  1.  Sign in or create your SE account here 
  2.  Return to SacramentoLacrosse.org  and select REGISTER: SPRING 2022
  3.  You must make payment at the time of registration. (Fees for each age group are below)
  4.  Signed Code of Conduct and $200 volunteer check must be received before your registration is complete.

Your player's spot on a team will not be secure until these steps are complete.

Program Details

Sacramento Lacrosse Association Program Goals -  to provide an environment for youth and high school players to develop as athletes and promote a love for the game of lacrosse. Players of all abilities are encouraged to participate.
 
All players are required to have full gear:
Boys - helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouth guard, cup, gloves & stick
Girls - mouth guard, goggles & stick
Limited loaner gear is available.

Registration dates and deadlines for Spring 2022!

Oct. 1 - Registration opens for all ages - includes $50 EARLY BIRD Discount
Nov. 15 - End of Early Bird Discount - registration increases $50
Jan 12- Parent Information Meeting @ 7:00 via Zoom Invite
Jan. 13 - Registration Closes - a late fee could be assessed for those registering after this date
Week of Jan. 24 - 12U thru HS Practice Starts
Week of Feb. 7 - 8U & 10U Practice Starts
Feb. 26 - 12U thru HS Games Start
March 12 - 8U & 10U Games Start

May 7 thru 22  - End of Season Events

Team Availability and Practice Details

Note: SacMETRO encompasses, but it not limited to, Midtown, East Sac, Land Park, Curtis Park, and surrounding neighborhoods.

CO-ED 8U (5 to 8 yr. olds) 9/1/2013 - 8/31/2015

Beginner program for boys and girls that emphasizes having fun while teaching the basics of the game. It is a developmental program for kids between 5 and 8 years old. Equipment is not required for 8U players; SacLAX will provide sticks and soft balls. We anticipate fielding two co-ed 8U teams.

    • No time change after March 14
  • Cost - $100 (no early bird discount; no close date; no late fee)

Uniform and Ordering Information
 
12U - HS Boys and Girls are required to have a complete uniform in order to participate in games; consisting of:
Girls - jersey, shooter shirt, and shorts or kilt
Boys - jersey, shooter shirt, and shorts
Cost: ~$75
 
8U and 10U Boys and Girls will receive a jersey as part of their registration. Shooter shirt and shorts are not mandatory for 8U and 10U. Players should wear black shorts and black or white undershirt.
Size options will be selected during the registration process.  
 
Jersey Numbers
On their registration, players will have the option to submit a request for a specific jersey number. Players can enter up to 3 preferred numbers. However, preferred numbers are not guaranteed. Final numbers will be assigned by the club.
 
Uniform Store Dates
The uniform store will be open in November. During that time, uniforms must be ordered to ensure the manufacturer can meet our deadline. More information will be sent. There will be an option to purchase additional uniform pieces such as a shooter shirt (dri-fit undershirt) and shorts from the uniform store.
